ReplyDeleteLove your blog, which I recently discovered (through Hooked on Houses, I think.)
Happy New Year!
#3 & #5 are my faves, but #3 catches me more. Maybe it's that classic orange?
ReplyDelete#3 is my favorite. It's simple with just a pop of orange. I really like the concept of #1, however if you hadn't said that they were table legs, I wouldn't have known. #5 caught my eye, but the color scheme is a little too much like Christmas for me. So I go right back to #3 :) --
ReplyDeleteNicole
Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteI'm crazy about #1, because it looks fresh and new. I like #3 too.
ReplyDeleteThx Dana!
DeleteI like #5, maybe because the reds and greens really pop. Also like the typeface better--it stands out more than the other choices.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the specific feedback. :)
DeleteI'm with Dana on #1 Rebecca. I've seen similar versions of the others around the place and I think it's nice to be different. Although I'm not sure if it's the chair legs I like, or the fact it's on a white background. I don't really like the background colour of the others. #3 on a white background would be my next choice. I hope I haven't been too critical, you know I love your blog (and my own header's pretty dire, so who am I to talk!) x
ReplyDeletep.s. sorry - don't do the facebook thing.
Excellent detailed feedback. Critical is good. We have been debating back and forth ourselves.
Delete#5 is my favorite and the most professional looking but needs a different color scheme
ReplyDelete#1 is terrible and very difficult to read
#2 has potential but without the piano keyboard looking graphic, I know it's supposed to be flooring, but at first glance it "reads" piano
#'s 3 & 4 are pretty forgettable
sooo, go with #5
Detailed. Very good. :)
DeleteHere's my contribution!
ReplyDeleteTake the type from #5, put on white background, I'm with Kylie on white backgrounds, then insert table legs from #1!
Keep the orange vibe going and give the legs a slimming treatment, both in number and scale.
I like the leg motifs cause I'm a sucker for a good table/chair leg and it's unique to you, not the same MC vibe that's out there.
This is a fun process.
I love redesigning my banners so enjoy, hope I wasn't too teachy? Pippa :)
Oh nicely done indeed. That was AWESOME.
Delete#3...I`ll just keep it simple!
ReplyDeleteAllison x
Simple is good to!
DeleteNumber 5 is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteClock and chairs
ReplyDeleteHey Kels, thanks for playing the game! :)
DeleteThey ALL look good but I think I like #3 the best, with #5 as the runner up. #3 looks fresh and uncluttered and I like that about it. But, truthfully, any one would look gorgeous and the colour palette of each seems just perfect for you!
ReplyDeleteWe will have fun picking and incorporating all this excellent feedback. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteMy first choice is #5, with #2 as the runner-up. I'm with Steph's mom, though. Both of them might be better with a white background...although they're good this way, too. I suppose it depends on if you're changing the rest of the blog, too.
ReplyDeleteI want to do a white background like many of the suggestions. A different color is limiting for sure.
DeleteI like #5. Sometimes choosing a piece of iconic design to feature makes it a bit too limiting, forces you to be locked in to that style.
ReplyDeleteGood point for sure.
Delete#5 just jumped at me!
ReplyDeleteJumped! Good word.
DeleteLove Number 5...it is readable and fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat, thanks for the vote!
DeleteGuess what Terry, you just won the drawing but I cannot find your profile on Blogger. I think you may have come over from Mid2Mod so I will ask Dana as well! Congratulations and hopefully we will connect.
DeleteVery happy to win! Thanks Again!
ReplyDeleteYou are welcome, prize is in the mail!
